Dear Sirs

This Is Gino Callegari again from Colombia South America, recently i
bought a 140 Engine used to Larry Claypool(thank you Larry) The
engine is working perfect except for one thing the belt goes out, I
tryed the following things:

1. Always installed a new belt from, Dayco, Gates, Clarks, every
brand you could imagine.

2. I change the fan bearing and auxiliar bearing.

3, I change Harmonic Balancer.

4. The belt has been installled loose in order alternator fan can be
move with a finger, or really tighten.

5. All the parts are in position according to the Shop manual.

6. Magensium Fan

7. I change both pulleys

8. I change the Alternator..

9. I'm absolutely LOST

This never happened to me in other corvair engines..

This engine Drives me crazy..or better the belt..

I'm sorry for my english..If anybody can help me..Will be great for
me.
