Worlds fastest Corvair?  Tom K. went 173 at Bonnevile 400hp  dual Turbo'd  water injected / cooled [ sprayed into fan]

If you have enough space to accelerate..things are better..

BUT  Tim Abney and other SoCal residents will attest to coming DOWN  the Cajon Pass as being the fastest your vair will ever go!...6 miles  / almost straight...normal traffic is usually at 85 plus!
