My first experience with quick steering was on a new '68 Monza I bought in
1968 (with F41 suspension option too). I put 27,000 miles on it in Germany
(autobahns) before I brought back to the states.
The OEM quick steering (box AND correct arms) is just about perfect. A
friend in Germany who had a Porsche Speedster loved how my Monza handled ("for such
a big car..."). They transform the car into something truly fun to drive.
But your steering effort does go up so you might want to see if someone in your
area has a stock QS car to let you try. I've driven LM's with quick steering
arms from aftermarket vendors (without a QS box) and every one was less than
ideal in some way for daily driving. Not so with the OEM QS steering.
Outside of the higher effort the car is just about perfect for any kind of driving.
My wife didn't like parking it, but really liked it for everything else.
