Well this thread has strayed about as far as it could from the original
question from Bob (it was Bob, wasn't it?) so I'll keep it going :o). Just
how do you cut a coil? Do you simply cut a coil from the spring and
reinstall it, or do you have otherwise alter the spring before you put it
back in?

I bought new front HD springs for my '66 Monza 'vert about a year ago, with
intentions to cut a coil and install, but so far have failed to do so. I
need all the encouragement I can get :o).
