Guys,
A friend was coming down one afternoon in his 60. As he crossed some particularly rough RR tracks the back of the engine dropped out of the car; the rear mount had unthreaded itself.
He called us on his cell phone; we grabbed tools & a jack & went to meet him. After a thorough search of the area we found all of the important mount parts - we had it bolted back in within ten minutes. After reconnecting the broken coil feed wire, the car started right up, & we drove to our normal hangout, where we put in an appropriate cotter pin.
I will admit, I decided to reverse the bolt & place the nut at the top. That way it is easy to check the cotter pin any time the hood is opened.
