Hello--

Item 1 in Section 2.8 of the rally rules states:
>In order to discourage attempts to "make up for lost time" with rapid 
>driving, Time Allowances (TAs) will be granted by the rally organizers for

Did you ask the event organizers for a Time Allowance for these delays?
