"14 degrees of vacume" does sound rather unusual. And if it goes "way
off the gauge" that would seem to indicate that you have more than 30 inches
of vacuum which would be of great interest to the scientific community. Heck,
Nobel prizes have been granted for lesser achievements than that!!!!
