started by installing a flasher unit that will handle 6 bulbs...info on this is 
in the Tech Guide.  I ground away the back facing "air intake/exhausts grills" 
on the fake vents and epoxyed in lenses.  The lights are  "grain of wheat" 
type found in the lighting strip from an Astro Van roof mount third brake light.  
There are certainly other sources for this type of light.  I was able to 
simply snip off as much of the lighting strip as needed to fit the fake vent 
housings.  I have the wiring hooked into the brake/directional circuit so that I 
have 4 brake lights as well as 2 directional lights per side.  If you need more
