<VV> FW: sending unit

Late yesterday I was searching the net for some information on an unrelated
(non corvair) gauge.  In doing so I stumbled upon a source for a universal
0-30 ohm pre 1965 GM sending unit.  The cost was a bit more but still
cheaper than the rebuilt fc sender is (maybe if I was restoring it to
original condition I would consider the correct one).

A big thanks to all that helped me on this portion of the project,
especially John Beck who spent some time playing with a gauge for a possible
solution to the problem.

I am considering doing a write up of my tank for the communique.  I have
invested a lot of time in doing this and if someone else can benefit from
this time all the better.
