Terry, I think you have the solution to the editing problem with the 
Communique. In the future, when stories have to be edited due to limited 
space, it should be stated that the article is an edited version. Then a 
link to the unedited version could be listed for those that want to read 
the unedited version.

Sound like a decent compromise?
