Chris, the clip slides off to the side (front). They're usually stuck or
rusted in place, not to mention the spring pressure and (sometimes) a retaining
barb. You can take a wide, wide screwdriver and pry between the lock body and
the (alternate between top and bottom) tab. Or, you can grab the tab with
pliers and "wiggle-walk" (technical term) the clip forward and off. You will
damage things if you try and pull it "straight off".

Ok I pulled the handles. Good thing. The door panel will need to be
replaced, it is quite warped. Now the what is the correct way to get the
lock cyl off. Tried pulling on the angle piece, but it would not budge.
Thinking of grabbing it with a pair of vice grips and pull strait out.
