Chris : Put your vice grips on the "tab" and pull sideways--that "angle
piece" is like a flat 2 bladed fork ;it goes in & out in only ONE
direction-if you have a mirror and flashlight -have a look to see what side
is open--Sorry that's the best explanation I can think of at the moment .
