[FC] adjusting emergency brake 63 rampside

While we're on the emergency-brake subject, I have a question.

On my daily-driver Rampside one of the brackets that holds the EM cable near 
the rear wheel (sheathed section) rusted off/broke where it meets the frame.

I fashioned a new bracket out of a u-bolt to secure it in approximately the 
same position, but the result is that the rear brakes drag (one side) when I 
apply the foot brakes.

I've re-tried this a couple of times, but each time one of the rear brakes 
drags.  I currently have the EM cable disconnected.

Anybody exeerienced this and/or have a suggested fix?
