[FC] FC Accelerator and Speedometer Questions

Did you lube at the base of the pedal in the cabin (I don't know what year
you have - they are not all the same)? And where the rod passes through the
floorboard (white lithium there)? Under the floorboard (I don't know how to
describe this) there is a slider piece (like a tube over the cable) aft of
the return spring. Make sure that has plenty of lube. Or, maybe the return
spring itself has given up on it's job?
Speedo cable could be a number of things. First - disconnect at the back of
the speedo and turn it (the speedo) by hand. Reach under the dash and turn
the outer portion while watching the speedo. Does it work? Register a few
mph AND able to register additional mile(s)? Then the speedo itself is
probably OK. If not, the speedo quit working and possibly resulted in
damage to the cable or the gear in the diff.
