[FC] help needed to restore GB steering wheel....

There is a specially produced epoxy putty just for repair of steering 
wheel cracks, but I can't recall the brand at the moment (POR-15, 
Eastwoods, ?)

But actually, generic epoxy putty is readily available in sticks as 
temporary "gas tank repair" by JB Weld and others. Have used it quite 
succesfully on gas tanks and below water line repairs on aluminium 
fishing boats, but haven't tried it for steering wheel resto.
