[FC] Broken Valve Cover Bolt

I had an exhaust stud break on me where I could not easily drill it out. I
was able to use a flex shaft and diamond tipped bit with a dremel to eat out
the stud enough that I could then use a pick to get the threads out. I
managed to save the threads and was able to clean them up with a tap. It
did take awhile but it was my only option. Good luck.

Subject: [FC] Broken Valve Cover Bolt
I have a valve cover bolt that is broken off just below the surface of the
head.
I have a Helicoil repair insert if I need it, but does anybody have any tips
on getting the old bolt out.
It looks like it would be pretty hard to drill a small enough hole to get a
screw extractor in there.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
