BSCC- Sad news: Tom Smith has died

Tom "Smitty" Smith, longtime member of Colonial Corvair, died yesterday at the age of 90. He had been diagnosed with brain cancer several months ago. 

The wake will be Wednesday Sept. 9 from 4-8 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose.  The funeral service will also be at Robinson's at 10 a.m. on Thursday, with burial following at Wyoming Cemetary in Melrose. People are welcome to bring their Corvairs for the funeral procession, and friends are working on getting Smitty's Corvair in running order to participate.
