Hi Carolyn,
FYI, rather than drive out here to Milford, why don't you call the Milford Town Fair Tire Store Manager, Shaun Griffin, direct @ (508) 422-9223, as he said about 2 hours ago that they showed 25 in stock at their CT warehouse. If he doesn't have them in stock in Milford, it may take a day or 2 to get them from the warehouse. I'm just trying to save you a wasted trip to Milford. If you have any problems with that price, just call me at (508) 473-7026 to verify it with Shaun. Good luck! Ray 'B'

Hey Ray...Thanks a million....Tweety needs new tires badly and I didn't get my sticker because I knew it wouldn't pass. I was going to wait until spring because she is in storage while we are in FL. With this deal I can't wait till spring and pay full price. Thanks again Carolyn

Hi Everyone !
I just stopped in at my local Town Fair Tire Store here in Milford to question an ad I saw for 185X80-R13, 5/8" WW Tires on sale at $25.00 per tire. (This is a limited time offer so call now if you're interested. This price should be good at all Town Fair Tire locations.)
I asked Shaun Griffin, the store Mgr, who the manufacturer was. He looked it up and they are Hankook Tires. These are the same tires that retail usually at $59.00 each. I have a standing agreement with Shaun that if anyone from our club comes in, mentions Bay State Corvair Club and he'd give them a $10.00 discount. Even he was surprised at the price but said that 13" WW tires are a slow seller and they show only 25 on hand in their warehouse so they are clearing them out at $25. apiece. There is a catch here. This is not a Cash & Carry price so you'd have to add on for State & Federal Taxes, 4 new valve stems, Computer balancing, mounting and plus the disposal fee for your old tires. The final price would be $174.84 complete ; still not bad for a new set of premium radial WW tires and for handling and safety sake, you'll have the peace of mind you only get from a new set of tires.
Do yourself a favor; at that price, nows the time to replace those old dry rotted bias ply tires you've been nursing along.
I hope to see a good crowd at next Wednesday's Monthly Meeting at The Tavern , 7:00 PM.
Best regards, Ray 'B'
