BSCC- sigh

The Vega was a really BAD car, my in-laws had one that I had some
experience with. I think it was an early example of cost

accountants overruling engineers. The radiator was too small for the
engine, it was only adequate in the best of conditions.

This resulted in many engines being replaced early in the life of the
car. - it happened to my in-laws.

Some accountant probably got a million-dollar bonus for saving 25 cents
per car.

 

That said, I think the Aztek set a standard for ugliness that probably
hasn't been surpassed. What were they thinking when

they let that out?

What is really funny about this article is none of these cars were
really that bad nor were they sales flops, the Vega which is probably
the worst car on the list sold 2.1 million cars
