Thanks for the info. I am half heartedly looking for a car that I can drop my turbo engine and drivetrain into. Does not have to be pretty.
Guess I would have to store the A/C parts.
Thanks again,
Mark

Being that it is a real Corsa with A/C, it is 1 of the 105 Corsa Coupes so equipped (there were another 53? Corsa convertibles made with A/C). While A/C was available for many years on Monzas and 500's it wasn't until 66 when they switched to firewall mounted condenser that was possible to put A/C on a 4 carb engine. Up until then A/C was only available on 2 carb engine. Hence only 140 Corsas have A/C as the turbo gets in the way of things and makes it too hot in the engine bay anyway.

The short answer is: it's a relatively rare 66 Corsa and certainly worth saving. I already have a Corsa Coupe with factory A/C, or I'd consider looking at this one.

Hi Mark-

I have seen this car up close and have already raided this guys parts.

It is as far as I can tell a real Corsa and it has A/C. The body is not too bad, however I did not look at that close as I was busy filling ny car with 140 heads and Corsa Dashes and other goodies! The car is pretty straight and needs attention for sure but it is worth looking at.

My bet would be that you could flash this guy 1200 and he would jump. The car has been for sale a long time, but it really did not look full of holes, The engine was out when I saw it, as I beleive he was replacing the trans,

There has been a Corvair on Craigs list in East Providence for quite a while. Wondering if anyone has checked it out, or knows anything about it.
Hopefully the link is below.
