Hi guys,

 

At LaSalette last week I ran into Paul Silva and he does radio conversions
real cheap. He is going to be doing mine for me in a month or so. He takes
the old one and converts it to an FM/AM and it still looks like the original
one that was in there.  For $100. You can ship the old one to him and when
it is time to install it you drive down and he can have it installed in just
a few minutes. I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for or not. But
for me it will work out great!! Let me know if this helped.

So Rick, any idea how I can get someone to do this for me locally?  My AM/FM
stock tube radio is fried.

Yo, check this out...this guy transplanted the guts of a modern cd player
INTO the stock radio housing...when the thing is off, you can only see the
stock dial. Turn it on, and you see all the cd controls.....the actual cd
player is in the glove box, he just "remote mounted" the LCD screen
and
