Mark,
Years ago (30 or so) when our son was about 8 or 9 we went to Rhinebeck. We
also took a flight over the Hudson Valley complete with goggles and skull
caps needed for the open cockpit. One seat belt for the two of us. I
remember we banked over and my son slid down to me and held on for dear
life. Quite a place and worth the visit if you haven't been.
The day I was there they did a mock battle between old period aircraft and
gun batteries on the ground that were protecting the field.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
