1964, Monza 900 cpe, 4 spd, blue (code 918), stored since 1978, 79,000 miles, considerable rust, restoration begun -- engine seems to be in good shape but will be rebuilt.

I am 66 years old and this is my second Corvair, the first was a 1962 Monza 900 cpe bought new and sold at just over 100,000 miles because of excessive hail damage (made by hail stones over 3" diameter). All parts of my '64 are there, but many will require replacing or restoring. I am a retired highway engineer (worked as a traffic engineer, an environmental engineer, and in management). I have been retired for 13 years and have been active in restoring several cars, though not to competition standards -- just daily drivers -- mostly Chevy's.
