1965, Monza Convertible, red ext./black int. This was given to me by my grandfather, a previous member of the club.
More about myself:
My grandfather had at one time 25 Corvairs and little by little sold them off. He has 5 left, which he gave one to each of his 5 grandchildren. I was given the convertible, while the rest received coupes. I am 22 years old and love to work on both of my cars. I plan on spending the next few months restoring the convertible, which reminds me of my grandfather. The car needs a little body work before I have it re-painted and clear-coated. The only other thing wrong with it is a small leak in the transmission, which I believe is near the transaxle. I've never worked on a corvair before and I hope to have it fixed and use it this summer. I plan on joining the Corvair Club within the next few months.
