Previously Owned 1964 Spyder Coupe, White with black interior 1965 Corsa Coupe, Red, with black interior 1966 Monza, Blue with black interior Own Now 1962 Spyder Convertible, car has not run since 1972, and starting to restore.

I became interested in Corvairs in Highschool. I worked at a copy shop and would prepare the newsletter for a San Jose chapter of Corvairs. I started to read the newsletter and became fascinated with the car. This was in 1989. I attented a corvair meeting and shortly purchased my first corvair. One didn't seem enough so I bought more. I loved each one. After I became married we needed to buy a house. My corvairs were sold to make a larger down payment. I sold them all the same day within 15 minutes. Hours of labor and love gone. That was in 1993. Now 2003 I purchased a larger house with a 3 car garage. Now I have room for Corvairs again. In June this year I purchased a 1962 Spyder Convertible. I had never owned a convertible so this will be my first. It has not run since 1972 and needs a full restoration. I look forward to restoring it and making it my everyday car. I sold my 1999 minivan and will use the money from that to restore the corvair. Friends and family think I'm crazy again for my love for Corvairs. I compromised and I'm buying the wife a new car and my car will be the Corvair. I can't wait to restore my Corvair and watch it out last ever car in the family.
