1965 Monza conv. 110/4. My first and only 'vair. Used as a daily driver when not too cold.
The car was originally a 110/3, but when I bought it, there was a 140 motor w/ 4sp in it. The 140
blew last summer (sucked a valve seat through the intake, I think) and took out no. 2 and
no. 6 cylinders. I picked up a rebuilt 110 last fall, and am just getting the car back on the
road now (6/01).
More about myself:
I work in the technology industry. I used to road race & autocross rotory Mazdas (RX7/
RX3SP/Cosmo) but have not in a while. While I try to do as much work on my cars as
possible, I am a fair mechanic at best. I knew the rotory cars pretty well and could take care
of most of the needs there, but find myself struggling on a regular basis with my 'vair. I
really enjoy the car, however, so am working my way through the learning curve slowly.
