I have been involved with Corvairs since 1960, when I convinced my father to buy a new 60 500, 4 door,3 speed. We drove that car from Atlanta to Anchorage, Alaska in 1962. In 1963 we traded for a new 1963 Monza 4 door, 4 speed, 102 hp. My first Vair is my Corsa. I purchased it used in 1966. I have had several others, including a 61 Lakewood and a 62 Monza 4 door.
