1961, Rampside, being SLOWLY restored! Mugsy is mine though!
More about myself:
Gosh--what to say! :) I'd rather talk about my truck! But he's another story--let's just say that Mugsy was the vehicle that gave me my freedom--I learned to drive in my Dad's little Rampside, and I remember driving to my High School Senior Picnic in 1972 in Mugsy. My dad sold the truck later that year. I loved that truck! In 1991, I was driving to a friend's house and on the side of the road was a rampside for sale. I stopped and took information down, when I called and spoke to the owner, through some tracking, it was confirmed that this little rampside, so badly in need of work, was indeed my Dad's original truck! I snapped him up and he has been in my possession since then; though yet to be totally drive-able and/or restored. We're working on that. As for me, I just finished my undergraduate work Cal State Northridge (only took 32 years from the time I got out of high school to complete that degree!). I plan to go on to Grad School, all the while working full time, and enjoying life too! :)
I look forward to being able to tootle around southern california in Mugsy, with the lumber rack my dad built for him back in 1961 (dad was a carpenter and housebuilder).
