More about myself:

I live in the LA area, bought my first corvair, a coupe, in 89 and have been driving my vairs daily ever since. Added the convertible in 91 and the wagon in 2000. I started restoration work on the convertible in 94, and took the coupe off the road in 2000. Previously I worked as a messenger driving my coupe 250 miles a day for 2 years on one engine, with no rebuilds! I now work as a windows system administrator for TVG, a cable TV station. I am married with 2 boys 5 and 12. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, hiking, hunting, biking, roller blading, baseball, soccer, and of course working on my vairs. I do most of my own work, weld, paint, anything not requiring a machine shop.
