'65 Corsa Coupe 140 hp dark green/saddle all original
More about myself:
This is my first Corvair. I've owned many old cars in my time, however they weren't that old when I owned them. There are a number of them I would love to still own - '58 Impala, 61 Ford Galaxy Convertible, '65 Impala 396 4 speed convertible, 68 Ford Cortina GT, 77 Fiat X/19 - just to name a few.
All of these I worked on, mostly out of necessity or trying to eke out a little more performance from the car.
Wanting to get back to playing with cars, while not investing an arm or a leg and then finding out it wasn't the fun it used to be, and being limited to a one car garage, and wanting something different than a Mustang or Camero that you see every where, I settled on a Corvair. Well it was a wake up call. This was nothing like I was used to working on in the past. Many times over this past year, I have wondered what I got myself into and many times I have had to just walk away from it for a while. But it has been a learning experience and many helpfull people have been there in VV to offer advice.
Stinky (cars name) and I have bonded over this past year and he is a joy to drive and gets a lot of attention where ever he's driven.
