It all started with a "Married computer engineer, father of 3, recently completing a home renovation, with a passion for power tools, seeking interesting car to restore." conversation. This lead to a "I have a 66 Corvair coupe which is yours for the towing" answer from a friend. I always had an interest in doing a Ghia or a 911/912, so when the realization of "it's rear-engined and air-cooled" became clear, the deal was done. So with an empty 2 car garage, 220v power, MIG welder, air compressor, beer fridge, and an ebay account - let the games begin!
