I bought my first Corvair with my brother around 1980. It was a late model convertible. My brother didn't seem to care about the history but I got hooked. We drove that car for a couple of years then sold it. It was not until a few years ago that my itch returned. I always knew I'd own one again. Well I bought two that year. A 61 Greenbrier and a 63 Coupe. I enjoyed them both until this past Summer (07). I needed money and ended up selling both. That was not fun. Well it did not take long to get another car. Six months after selling I found a nice early model in good shape that got me back as a Corvair owner. It is good to be back owning a Corvair.
