1965 Corvair Monza 110hp, PG, red exterior/gray and red interior, Air conditioning, 15x7 Wheel Vintique Rally wheels painted to match exterior.
I am looking for a ragtop as we speak, or a decent lakewood wagon
More about myself:
I am a former on-staff editor for many different automotive publications. (Street Rodder, Custom Rodder, Truckin', All Chevy, Super Chevy, Popular Hot Rodding, Mini Truckin') I am currently a freelance journalist and accomplished photographer/videographer as well as being a gear head. My passion for Corvairs may not be as strong as some but, I have heard about these cars for many years thanks to my father who purchased a 1960 model Corvair when he got drafted in the Army in 1960. He owned a few of these gems in the 60's and sold his lilac-colored ragtop for a '68 Chevy Malibu when he moved away from California.
It wasn't until I brought mine home one day that he decided he wanted another one. Almost 30 years later his love for the Corvair was rekindled. He still owns his 1966 Monza 110hp Corvair and drives it almost everyday.
