I've been around Corvairs since 1971. My Dad bought a 1964 Monza coupe from the neighbor that was moving to England. I, along with 4 of my 5 brothers, learned to drive on my Dad's '64 Monza Coupe, 110/4-spd in high school. After high school, I bought a '66 Monza Coupe 110/4-spd that needed everything. (But what do you expect for $85?) I had that for about 18 years before selling it in 1997. After another 6 years, I had the bug for another car. I was really looking at late 60's/early 70's Mopars or '70-72 Chevelles. Then I attended a car show in Avon, IN in August of 2004, where I saw a CORSA that was very similar to my '66 Monza. The bug had bit me again! Two weeks later, I was driving home a '66 Monza convertible I had found and purchased on eBay. Today, I have that as well as my old '66 coupe, which I purchased again in March of 2007. I'm not sure if I'll put it back on the road (it hasn't been plated since 1998 and was sitting out in the weather since then) or if I'll strip it and part it out.
