65 500 Coupe. Modified 95hp with PG

I retired from my job as a Police Officer in Lexington Kentucky in 1994. Although I bought my first Corvair in 1969 (a 62 Convertible)I didn't become active as a hobbyist in Corvairs until the late 1980's. Prior to moving to Florida in 1998, I had owned about 14 Corvairs. I had restored a 64 Convertible, a 64 Coupe with Factory Air, a 69 Coupe, a 68 convertible and a 63 Rampside. Upon moving to Florida, I had decided to get out of Corvairs as they were a money losing proposition to me. About a year after moving here, I signed back on to Virtual Vairs, rejoined Corsa and bought another Corvair, which I am currently restoring. Once you get it in your blood, it's hard to shake it.
