Personal goal is to own a good example of each year. 1st was a '69 Monza, which I got for the price of the tow,$40.00.Turned out to be a decent driver, boyfriend wrecked it,but insurance paid $2000,which enabled me to buy the fully loaded '69/140,which I love!...and then they just started to multiply.Besides the ones I plan to restore and have already started restoring,I also have some parts cars and a good supply of parts.
And a boyfriend...who even though he has a tendency to be in the wrong place at the wrong time,'67 got rearended at VIR Racer's Reunion,he was driving...is even more Corvair Crazy than me.Good news is...I paid $150.00 for the '67 and insurance paid almost $1900.
Took a little backyard body work and zero dollars to get it back into almost the same condition as before,
by the guilty party. We have 10 acres in the county so
there is plenty of room for almost 20 cars to roam.We
are active in the local club and try to attend as many shows and events as possible.I would like to get
into Auto-crossing at some point also.
