Our St. Louis solution is to remove the 3 aluminum plugs in the carb base
near the idle needle adjuster. Then run the carbs through a sonic
(ultrasound) cleaner for 10 -16 minutes to clean out the corn oil that has
hardened in the up and down
Idle circuit. Sonic cleaners and supplies can be found at Harbor Freight.
