<VV> FS: 1962 Rampside in San Jose, CA

Hi all,

For Sale, 1962 rampside (w/t 110hp 1965 car engine and Powerglide 
conversion) located in San Jose, CA. I also have a truck engine block 
that I will include in the deal. Dad restored it about ~15yr ago using 
many Clarks parts for both interior (upholstery and rugs) and mechanical 
(VITON o-rings & Seth's Silicon Spark Plug Wires). Dad had Mel from Vair 
Mart swap in a automatic to make it easier to drive. The truck was a 
daily driver until my father stopped driving altogether a few years ago. 
The gas has gone bad in its tank from lack of use, therefore it will 
need a complete fuel system flush. One of the breaks is pulling. That 
being said, she started up and I was able to drive from Sunnyvale to my 
place (~7 miles) on its own power with a spare gas can in the bed of the 
truck. I am confident that with a little effort she will be back on the 
road. I have many great memories of using her over the years both as a 
truck and as transportation. My sister in law even commuted to work in 
it for a few years. My dad recently passed away, and as I do not have 
extra room for another Corvair in my driveway, I would rather it go to 
someone that can appreciate it as we have appreciated it. Perhaps that 
is you? After all Christmas is coming! Local pickup preferred, but 
transportation arrangements can be made.
