Hagerty's Driver's Club magazine features a "Tools We Love" article I
found interesting, and a DIY article on swapping out a 4-speed in a '62
Monza ragtop for a Powerglide, owner having lost a leg, prosthetic from
below the knee, and driving a gearbox was problematical.  Caveman-Pete
Koehler had commentary...

The ragtop started out as a Spyder but evidently had a late model
carb'ed engine conversion with mag fan, alternator, etc. thus no worries
over putting a PG on a turbo engine which tends to be bad business what
with beating the engine to death by keeping it in boost too often.

Of late, Hagerty has been having more and more Corvair content. They
also recently sent me a notice that due to increased net worth/market
value of Corvairs, I should add another 1000 bucks of value coverage to
the worth of my '60 4-door... which is kinda amusing, those who have
seen it will understand.  The extra coverage cost me 5 dollars.

Just thought I'd mention it,

tony..
