Two Lakewood wagon bodies:
One with a rooftop carrier and an installed 140 engine, with two carburetors mounted, and the secondary positions blocked off. Transmission in car is a 1964 Powerglide with complete 1964 rear suspension. Body reasonably solid but the support structure to support the floor boards was and still is questionable and requires serious reconstruction at a minimum.

Second wagon body is also a Lakewood that had an original engine with Powerglide, which has about 130,000 miles on it and it is available if desired. The body has the floorboards replaced, self adjusting brakes added, and the rear bearing assemblies replaced. The body has had all known rust areas repaired and has been primed with PPG epoxy primer. I also have an engine that had been used in a Corvair van, that can be had.

My original plan was to move the power-train from the first listed body into the second body, after I discovered the degradation of the floor support structure and take the best trim from the two and make the best total unit from the combination. The plan was to take the seats that had been in a FxxD wagon with split bench front seats which have been re-upholstered and a high quality mounting strip for them is already installed.

Custom door panels coordinated with the upholstery were obtained from Clark Corvair as well as an appropriate headliner, and a padded dash to be added that coordinates with the door panels, and carpet, visors, etc. There is a NOS cover for the rear hatch mechanism to be painted or covered with material as you wish. There is a new windshield and gasket for it, and carpet set. The interior will need to be painted to cover the original blue painted surfaces, I have the outside moldings from both bodies and the glass from the primed body car. I have already replaced the vent wing gaskets.

There is a new gas tank available with the cars as well as a multitude of parts and trim pieces that go with them. I do have titles for both bodies/cars. I have simply run out of time and energy to complete this project. I made some progress while we were still in Illinois, but with the move to Florida and my ageing, no recent progress has been made, and it is time to let someone complete the transition to a great car.

The bodies are in Ocala and I am ready to regain the space and move the cars to someone who will complete them and make use of the effort and money sunk into the current status of these cars. Serious offers will be considered. I do have an 18 foot cargo trailer in which the first wagon is currently located that could be purchased as part of the deal at a significant discount that has minimal mileage on it, as well as an open trailer that could also be made part of the deal. I can send pictures of the bodies and the interior components upon request.

I simply would like to see the wagons completed, and I realize that I won't get them merged, and will absorb a significant loss in order to make that happen.
