I've had a MaxJax system for about 4 years and have been completely satisfied.  Once Installed, it's really no less permanent than any other two post lift.

Thinking about a MaxJax portable hydraulic lift for my Christmas present to me. Checking to see if anyone has had experience with one. It is advertised on the inside back cover of the Nov C&D mag. Has a 4' lift for low ceiling garages. Would never be able to get a permit for a permanent one.
