Ok, let me have another go. The original post, if I remember correctly, 
was from a gentleman who wanted to get a battery some distance across 
the country. He enquired whether anybody as going that way who could 
pick it up.
I responded by saying I bought batteries on eBay all the time and they 
were shipped easily and cheaply by regular mail.
I wasn't telling him to buy a battery on eBay - I was explaining that 
HIS special NOS battery could be easily mailed to him.
