I was at Old Town Kissimmee yesterday evening, and there was an 
absolutely beautiful 1962 Corvair convertible with a V8 up front. 
License plate 02 EVX. Beautiful conversion job. Everything was perfect - 
even the stainless windscreen trim fitted beautifully! The interior mods 
and everything were done to perfection. Some other really beautiful 
modified cars on show also - there are some really talented engineers in 
this country - you don't really get anything like this in the UK. Most 
of them would be illegal anyway - we all have to drive round in 
ultra-safe and ultra-quiet boring Euro-boxes. The European Commission 
once said that motoring should not be a means of individual expression. 
And they should know. That was Hitler's idea too, with the 
'Strength-through-Joy-wagen' or whatever they called the Beetle.
