<VV> Fuel line leaking

Copper seals are available for flare fittings.  I've never had to use any.  The only times I've had issues I fixed them by examining the flare and smoothing out any issues.

Has anyone had a hard time getting the line from the fuel pump to the filter on an early (63) turbo to seal?, I have replaced a new line and fitting well actually 2 new fittings both leak from the line end at the brass fitting.
Old line, new line actually 2 new lines, I’m totally stumped.
