Re padded dashes on LM's. 67's have different studs & hole locations than 65-66 dash panels. 68's have the heavier crash-worthy dash pads and panels around the radio and ash tray. I don't know about their dash hole arrangements..

Thanks Bryan, Carl and others for your project updates as they reinforce my own efforts.  Richard, I just checked my LM dash "stash" (pile) and don't have a '66, but wouldn't other LM years work?We're wearing our masks here.  Got to protect all of our Corvair knowledge and experience.
