Much longer ago, I did spend some time in West Germany, down near the
Mosel river.
Pretty country, got to see a couple of races at the Nurburgring,
attended a wine fest or two, vised the Kristkindelmart in Nurenburg. Got
a fair bit of practice fixing my '56 VW - converting to syncro trans,
swapping platform to convert from cable brakes to hydraulic, 36 hp motor
to 40 hp then to 1300.
