<VV> Mallory Distributor Cap

I have a Mallory distributor converted to a Pertronix unit which has a cracked cap.  I can find caps for distributors marked 'YL' but none for a Corvair one marked 'YC'.  Are the same basic distributor?  Will a "yl" cap fit on the 'YC'?
