Talking of wiring, somebody has messed with the wiring on my newly 
acquired van. I have three wires going to the 'hot' side of the coil! 
Aside from the yellow/black wire (which is live as it should be with the 
ign switched on), there is a blue wire that disappears towards the front 
of the van taped to th harness, and a fabric-covered wire that goes into 
the main harnes. I haven't figured that out yet!
And it is sucking air into the fuel line somewhere - I had to sYphon 
fuel from a gallon can into the carbs to drive it home, & top it up 
every twenty miles!
