<VV> FC van choke and Greenbrier weatherstrips.

Well, mine doesn't! I should have mentioned that I have the manual, so 
I know what it SHOULD look like. I have manual carbs, but there are no 
cables, no fittings for cables, and  nowhere on the front panel of the 
engine bay where the fittings might go (or have ever been). Somebody has 
fitted a Spyder dash (which I intend to nick for one of my '64 
convertibles as I also have the correct van dash with 80mph speedo!). 
The absence of a choke knob is unremarkable, but how to explain the 
absence of any fittings, holes or marks on the front panel of the engine 
bay?
