Of the 4 Edsel models introduced for 1958, Corsair was second to the top line Citation.
For 1959, Pacer and Citation were dropped, leaving Corsair as the deluxe Edsel.
A 1960 Corsair was proposed but dropped shortly before production started, so the contoured seating/deluxe interior proposed for the 1960 Corsair became an upgrade option for Rangers.
